PROMEHS: Promoting Mental Health at Schools

The Laboratory of Pedagogical Research and Lifelong Education at the University of Patras is a partner in the PROMEHS (Promoting Mental Health at Schools) project. This is an Erasmus+ Key Action 3 programme, co-funded by the European Commission (2019-2022). It aims to develop, implement, and evaluate a curriculum for the promotion of mental health among members of the educational community, seeking to bridge the gap between educational research, classroom practice, and policy-making. PROMEHS is the first comprehensive curriculum dedicated to the promotion of mental health in schools, implemented through the collaboration of researchers, educational policy bodies, and academic associations. The programme involves 20 universities and ministries from seven European countries.
