Vassiliki Riga, MA, PhD
Associate Professor at the Department of Educational Sciences and Early Childhood Education of the University of Patras. Dr. Riga is IPLA’s Country Lead for Physical Literacy in Greece. She has been certified in IPLA’s "Foundation Course in Physical Literacy", "Development Workshop in Physical Literacy" and "Train the Trainer for the Foundation Course in Physical Literacy". The Network for Physical Literacy in Greece was established at her initiative.

Efstathios Christodoulides, PhD, Med, FHEA
Course Leader in BSC (Hons) Sport and Exercise Sciences at UCLan Cyprus, and co-Chair of the UNESCO Chair on Governance and Social Responsibility in Sport. Recipient of the Fulbright Scholarship for research in New York, USA, Head of IPLA in Cyprus and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy of the United Kingdom. He holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Sports and Social Sciences.

Fotini Venetsanou, MSc, PhD
Associate Professor at the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Scientific Coordinator of the project entitled "Physical Literacy Evaluation of children aged 8-12 years in Greece", one of the earliest such projects in Greece. Member of the International Motor Development Research Consortium. Her research interest focuses on the impact of physical activity on children's health and development.

Nursery teacher, graduate of the University of Athens. She holds a Master's degree in "Education Sciences" from the Department of Educational Sciences and Early Childhood Education, University of Patras. Her master’s thesis was entitled "Physical Literacy in the Modern Day".

PhD candidate at the University of Patras, research topic: "Psychomotor education as a means of improving attention span and concentration of children in primary education". She has been certified in IPLA’s "Foundation Course in Physical Literacy".

Konstantina Zachariadi
Nursery teacher and post-graduate student in the Post-graduate Study Programme "Education Sciences" of the Department of Educational Sciences and Early Childhood Education, University of Patras. She has been certified in IPLA’s "Foundation Course in Physical Literacy", "Development Workshop in Physical Literacy" and "Train the Trainer for the Foundation Course in Physical Literacy". She is actively engaged in research into the benefits of breaks for physical activity, both in the short term and as a means of cultivating habits that promote and encourage physical activity throughout people's lives.

Vasiliki Kayoglou, MSc, PhD
Physical Education Teacher, employed as the director of Physical Education and School Sports in the Directorate of Primary Education of Piraeus. Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, researching the development of programmes for the cultivation physical literacy in children. She is the author of the first doctoral thesis on physical literacy in Greece. She is a member of the research team of the project entitled "Physical Literacy Evaluation of children aged 8-12 years in Greece".
