International Conference: The Role of Academia in Promoting Child Rights

In October 2023, the University of Patras, in collaboration with the UNICEF Office in Greece, launched the country’s first Child Rights Centre, based within our Laboratory.

The Child Rights Centres initiative is founded on the pivotal role of the academic community in promoting and disseminating children’s rights within society, through the establishment of knowledge hubs within universities that serve this very purpose. As part of this initiative, the UNICEF Office in Greece and the University of Patras are co-organising an international conference on “The Role of the Academic Community in Promoting Children's Rights”, to be held on 6-7 June 2025, with the active participation of our Laboratory.
